Head down to the luxurious Fairmont Waterfront Hotel on December 31st and prepare yourself for one of the most luxurious NYE parties in Vancouver. The party will be spread between the Grand Ballroom, where DJ Ryan Live and Kidd will be playing a collection of the hottest new and old-school hits, and the Grey Goose Ice Bar, where DJ Skyline and special guests will be spinning the best in R&B classics.

This is a 25+ plus event, and the dress code is chic and sassy, meaning all gents are required to suit up.

This December 31st, the iconic Telus World of Science will be hosting another installment of their annual NYE party. This year, the event will feature five fully licensed bars, two separate rooms spread over two floors, performances by six of the city’s best DJs, and one of the biggest midnight countdowns to 2016.
Join over 1,100 Vancouverites as you ring in the new year overlooking the beautiful False Creek and Olympic Village. Regular tickets are still available for $85 and include a complimentary glass of champagne at midnight. VIP tickets are also available, and include express entrance, access to the furnished platinum VIP lounge, a complimentary glass of Rose champagne, complimentary coat check, access to a private bar for faster service and premium drinks, and a catered buffet. If you’re looking to ring in 2016 in a musical wonderland, then you’d best head to the Pacific Coliseum for one of the biggest NYE events in the country. Solid NYE 2016 will pack out this iconic performance space with some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Headhunterz, Deorro, Tritonal, Dvbbs, and TNT.
The party will last from 7 p.m. til 3 a.m. and a limited number of regular and VIP tickets are still available for $130 and $140, respectively. However, make sure you get your tickets quickly, as we don’t expect them to last much longer. If you’re one for luxury, head down to the Marriott Pinnacle on West Hastings. This stunning waterfront hotel will be hosting their fourth annual NYE event, complete with two separate party rooms, midnight appetizer buffet stations, live DJ performances, a huge balloon drop and countdown, eight premium bars, and much more.
Live video DJs Downlowe, 151, Delirious, and special guests will be spinning the latest hits, and there’ll be a photo booth to help you capture all your memories from the night. Regular tickets are still available for $90, and a limited number of table packages (for up to ten guests) are also up for grabs. These include VIP entrance, two bottles of champagne, sectional seating, a tray of bouquets of macaroons and cupcakes, canapes, and a personal server for the entire night.

If you don’t wanna get stuck at just one venue on New Year’s Eve, join Student Tour’s NYE Club Crawl in Vancouver. You’ll get VIP access to four of the hottest venues in the city, and free transport on unique party buses. Your party hosts will also ensure you get to each venue safe and sound, and will be hosting a variety of activities and games throughout the night.

Looking to celebrate NYE in Vancouver with the entire family? The below events are recognized as some of the best family-friendly NYE events in the city, and offer a variety of entertainment options to keep everyone entertained until the clock strikes twelve.
If you wanna escape the craze of downtown Vancouver on December 31st, take a 40-minute drive up to Mount Seymour for this great family-friendly event at the North Shore ski resort. The kids will be able to enjoy clowns, magic shows, fire-spinning routines, and much more.
There’ll also be tobogganing, and a fire pit where you can warm up with a complimentary hot apple cider and s’mores. Guided snowshoe tours and snow tubing are also available for an extra fee. The night will end at 9 p.m. with an early countdown and fireworks. Tickets for adults are $20, $15 for kids under 19, and entry is free for children under two.

This is another great way to escape the NYE rush in downtown; head on over to the Tradex in Abbotsford for a super fun family NYE celebration. Whether you’re celebrating with your friends, your loved one, or even with the kids, head to one of these spots to catch all the action of one of the most renowned New Year’s Eve firework displays in the world.
With the NYE fireworks being launched off a barge just west of the Canada Place pier, your best bet to catch this stunning 8-minute pyrotechnics display is to head to Harbour Green Park. Access this little spot from West Cordova Street, and try to get there early to ensure you get a good viewing spot. Alternatively, head over to Coal Harbour and look out over Deadman’s Island to catch the display, or head over early to Stanley Park and try your best to secure a spot by the water.
