At the young age of 17 his music career leaped forward as he started playing private parties for friends, and social events for his family and others. Gaining this exposure led him into the clubs and the night life of the great city,Tel-Aviv for Club Nova, Valentino, and more. Avi grew up in Israel until his military career began in 2002.This is when he joined the Israeli Navy for 3 years to travel with his unit, and in the Spring of 2005 he moved to Fort Worth, TX. Still holding his passion for music and production, he pressed-on, to build a new reputation, in a new environment, for a new fan base and later to be recognized as DJ Avi. Growing up in a different culture has allowed this unique man to experience a variety of music, influencing him to expand his views upon the world. In all but 2 years residing in the States the determined DJ Avi has performed at a number of the finest clubs in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.In Fort Worth he has played at: Aqua Lounge, Red Goose, Stone Canyon, Club Chrome, Club Patron, and Saffire Lounge, these appearances have aided his expansion toward bigger places in Dallas. Where he has played at Syn-Bar, Afterlife, Carsons Live, Club Reflection, Eden, and The Lizard Lounge. A number of these places are listed among the clubs that many of the life long resident DJs have often desired to perform, but still have not received the chance. His involvement with the Lizard Lounge include a Dallas DJ Competition and later playing a show with Johan Gielen, one of the best DJs in the Worlds music industry, and with the Electronic Band, Infected Mushroom. DJ Avi was also interviewed Live by the online radio station, “The Electronic Werkshop,” this radio show was dedicated to him and the music he loves. His inspiration comes from a variety of music that still fills a tremendous part of his everyday life.
