Can I Live DJs
Vancouvers BESTiE had a banner 2013, taking home 3rd place at the Peak Performance Project and touring the summer festival circuit, including stops at Sled Island, Music Waste, Rifflandia and Vancouver Fringe. Now, hot on the heels of their shows at SXSW and a trip to Columbia to shoot a video, the group is excited to share their debut full-length album, No Bad Days an 8-track pop-rock record full of danceable beats and infectious melodies. Set for release on April 22nd, the album will prelude a May tour that will take the band across Canada, including a stop in Toronto for CMW (details below).
BESTiE started in the spring of 2012 in East Vancouver when friends Andrew Janczewski, Tristan Orchard, Daniel Ruiz and Rob Cameron started jamming, with the goal of making a fun accessible pop band. Soon after discovering their array of world and pop music influences, the group started crafting their own unique sound. No Bad Days was recorded with Juno award-winning producer Howard Redekopp, best known for his work with Tegan and Sara, Said The Whale, New Pornographers, Mother Mother, and the Zolas.
