This young alto saxophonist possesses the fluidity and velvety tone witnessed by the late saxophonists Paul Desmond and Stan Getz. Aided by pianist, Ron Johnston, this quartet displays panache and eloquence, while the leader successfully melds saccharine proclamations with a strong sense of swing.

Slamming from the West Side to deep down in the swamp to some jump and early Chuck Berry rock n roll, he’ll keep the joint jumpin’ all night long. Reverend Raven’s hot guitar licks bounced from traditional blues originals like the Slim Harpo inspired “Bee Hive Baby” to the bouncer “I’m Your Honeyboy.”

Originally a California girl, Shari’s career through the Pied Pumkin, The Hometown Band, and on as a solo artist continues to inspire audiences, and set the bar for two generations of female singer/songwriters. BC Entertainment Hall of Fame Inductee and Juno award winner Ulrich is now joined by her 19 year old daughter Julia on violin, piano, guitar and vocals in her solo shows.
