Tiësto

Tiësto is a performer who has transcended musical genres to create a global “Tiësto” brand. His achievements include: a Grammy nomination, numerous MTV awards, performing at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games to an audience of billions, and even a wax statue at Madame Tussauds. With over 15 million friends on Facebook, 2 million followers on Twitter, over 400 million views (and one million subscribers) on YouTube, his globally syndicated Club Life radio show as well as his Club Life iTunes artist podcast (#1 music podcast globally), Tiësto has truly become a universal phenomenon. Voted ‘The Greatest DJ Of All Time’ by Mixmag in 2011 and the #1 DJ by Rolling Stone, Tiësto has worked with superstars such as Kanye West, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Nelly Furtado, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Goldfrapp and many more.

2012 was Tiësto’s biggest year yet with a series of unique promotions which includes performing the first concert live-streamed on Twitter (in partnership with HP and Intel); his 10-part “In The Booth” YouTube documentary series; the unveiling of his brand new state of the art mobile app for iPhone and IPod Touch; the launch of Tiësto’s own “Club Life” Sirius XM channel; the release of his “Club Life – Volume 2 Miami” mix album (including his chart topping remix of Gotye’s “Someone I Used To Know); and his brand new range of headphones for AKG and a fashion line with Guess.

Tiësto topped the year off by partnering with (RED) to release an exclusive compilation album, Dace (RED), SAVE LIVES, followed by a global livestream powered by YouTube – from Melbourne’s Stereosonic Festival over World AIDS Day weekend on December 1st and 2nd. The compilation features an exclusive collaboration between Tiësto and Bono on U2′s ‘Pride’ with all proceeds going to (RED) for the Global Fund to fight AIDS.

Skrillex

Sonny John Moore (born January 15, 1988), better known by his stage name Skrillex, is an American electronic musician and singer-songwriter. Growing up in Northeast Los Angeles and in Northern California, Sonny Moore joined the American post-hardcore band From First to Last as the lead singer in 2004, and recorded two studio albums with the band (Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count, 2004, and Heroine, 2006) before leaving to pursue a solo career in 2007. He began his first tour as a solo artist in late 2007. After recruiting a new band lineup, Moore joined the Alternative Press Tour to support bands such as All Time Low and The Rocket Summer, and appeared on the cover of Alternative Press’ annual “100 Bands You Need to Know” issue.

After releasing the Gypsyhook EP in 2009, Moore was scheduled to record his debut studio album, Bells, with producer Noah Shain. However, he ceased production of the album and began performing under the name Skrillex, distributing the My Name Is Skrillex EP for free download on his official MySpace page. Subsequently, he released the Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites EP in late–2010 and More Monsters and Sprites EP in mid–2011, both of which have since become moderate commercial successes.

On November 30, 2011, he was nominated for a total of five Grammy Awards at the 54th Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and won three: “Best Dance/Electronica Album”, “Best Dance Recording”, and “Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical”. On December 5, 2011, the BBC announced that he had been nominated for their Sound of 2012 poll. On December 12, 2011, he was also named MTV’s Electronic Dance Music Artist of the Year. Skrillex has won a total of six Grammy Awards.

Avicii

After an incredible 2010 with worldwide hit singles like Bromance and My Feelings For You plus hit remixes of Tiësto, Robyn, David Guetta, and Bob Sinclar all bodes right for Avicii in 2011. With massive monster tracks lined up and many of the world’s biggest events headlining Avicii on the bill, little is left to dispute that 2011 will be this enviously young talent’s year. No surprise when his first release of 2011, Street Dancer, went straight for number one on the worldwide Beatport charts.

Among upcoming releases are the highly anticipated remixes of Armin van Buuren – Drowning and Daft Punk Derezzed as well as his own Penguin, Silhouettes, Abow and the mysterious ID circulating countless forums around the web.

With his monthly LE7ELS podcast and radio show at SiriusXM, Avicii is looking at establishing his name among the stars, bringing his contagious sounds to the masses and making them believe what many already know – Avicii truly is the Sound of Now.
