Someone just sent me a message to one of my ads on Craigs list asking if the bedroom set we are selling includes the mattess Would you buy or want a used mattress for your own personal use (free or not) from someone you don't know and have never met? Personally I think it's gross and am kinda creeped out, but hell if she'll pay for it i'll take it. We were just going to put it to the curb.

K, this lady that wants my mattress is not right in the head. Maria, Unfortunately the bedroom set has been conditionally sold. However if the sale falls though I will let you know. The mattress & box spring were not included as part of the deal, however if you are still interested in the mattress/boxspring we can work something out. It is a Queen, 2 years old. Not sure of the make, I think it is a serta, but I will have to double check. If you are interested, I will not be ready for pick up until Sept. 6th. her response I actually wanted to buy it right away, but shipping it by sept 6th would be fine. I just wanted the deal to be done right away. So, let me know as soon as you can, I was even interested in comming tomorrow to have a look and pay you the money. Thanks a lot. I don't think i'm going to respond. i don't even think she understands what I was saying in regards to the bedroom set not being available.

I slept on used mattresses from QC to Niagara Falls and back again (some used far more than others... and then added maximum usage to every one of them), the spookiest was Econo Lodge in Cornwall. I never met any of the people who used them before. Sometimes, it's better not to know.

Nope. I would try on used clothing but would never get a used mattress.

LOL, oooops sorry... Not thinking, lol. Nope didn't mean it THAT way. I just wouldn't take the risk. If there was bedroom furnature for sale in my neighbourhood, I'd skip the mattress if I were going to buy it.

Exactly. I mean I know the mattress is clean and free from nasty things and stains.. But strangers don't know that.
