A&R Music Bar
A&R Music Bar Introducing the A&R Music Bar. A one-of-a-kind music bar featuring wall to wall memorabilia from PromoWest concerts over the last 25 years. A&R Music Bar showcases the poster art and photography of some of the countrys most well known artists. The bar is full service and features a huge outdoor patio, (5) 50 LCD flat screen TVs and proudly serves Bostons Gourmet Pizza. Located at 391 Neil Avenue in the entertainment neighborhood of the Arena District, A&R Music Bar is located above the Basement rock club and next to The LC Pavilion. The name A&R has 2 distinct meanings held closely and in high regard to PromoWest and the companys long standing history. The first being Artist and Repertoire. This is the division of record labels responsible for talent scouting and artistic development for recording artists. This concept ties into the PromoWest philosophy and goal to develop upcoming and new bands by showcasing them at The Basement level (300 capacity), then up to the Newport Music Hall level (1700 capacity) and then to the level of The LC Pavilion (5000 capacity). Several notable bands such as the Jonas Brothers, Fall Out Boy, The Killers and O.A.R began their careers playing smaller PromoWest venues and have now sold out PromoWest's largest facility, The LC Pavilion Outdoor Amphitheater and other Arenas. The second part of the name is simple and straightforward. Art and Rock. This is who we are and what the Bar represents. PromoWest has been creating original artwork for their concerts for decades, and continues to do so today through their in-house design Department of artists, designers, photographers and interns. A&R Music Bar allows you the chance to relive some of the most memorable shows in Columbus, Ohios history, as well as catch a glimpse of the great things to come at each of our venues. A&R Music Bar's large outdoor patio offers an exclusive space to lounge before shows at The LC Pavilion, Columbus Clippers games and other events in the Arena District. A&R Music Bar will also be used for live radio station broadcasts, band interviews, special appearances, meet & greets and live performances.
