Chef/Owner Gord Martin created Bin 941 and Bin 942 Tapas Parlours to reflect New York-styled wine and tapas bars, uniquely designed for Vancouver. Featuring open kitchens, window banquets and tantalizing tapas, The Bins invite patrons to enjoy the action inside and out, while savouring Vancouver’s most creative, contemporary small plates.
Martin has designed different menus for each restaurant, both featuring an array of wild game, seafood and Bin favourites! Through his experience in the Vancouver restaurant scene and his worldwide culinary adventures, Martin has discovered that quality often translates to local. Amon the first in the city to truly support and embrace British Columbia’s farmers, producers and fishermen, local products and sustainable seafood still reigh over the menus at Bin 941 and 942 more than ten years later.
The Bins are open from 5:00pm to 2:00am daily to indulge early diners and late-night cravings alike. A repertoire of pinxos to whet your appetite, signature "Tapatisers" and "Tongue Twisters’ for sharing, a superb selection of wines by the glass and an array of local micro-brewed beers make it easy to sample a variety of tastes. Featuring how music, funky decor and an intimate atmosphere, The Bins are "…where the hip and gastronomically initiated take their tongues for a good wag…"
