BoMA offers an ambiance that exceeds all expectations. This distinctive event venue caters exclusively to events ranging from large scale corporate clients, fundraisers, business meetings and weddings to intimate receptions and private parties. BoMA is an extraordinary venue that offers an unparalleled and unique experience that cannot be surpassed. In late 2006, the 1898 First Baptist Church went through a 5 million dollar renovation, transitioning it into one of the best state-of-the-art facilities in Ohio. This destination location first opened its doors as a world class nightclub and restaurant. In 2009, the BoMA management team then made the transition into a distinctive event venue that is worth experiencing. The Sanctuary   The Sanctuary is the central and largest space in BoMA. This dramatic room has amazing features including the hard-wood dance floor, an award-winning sound, video and lighting system, a built-in DJ booth, an impermanent runway, magnificent 60' ceilings as well as the original 1898 stained glass windows. The perfect location for any large event, guests are always impressed when they are entertained in this space. The Sanctuary is perfect for an elegant wedding ceremony. The Loft   The room we call The Loft is the balcony portion of the Sanctuary. It is often used in conjunction with the main floor below but is also used independently as its own exclusive area. Surrounded by the original 1898 stained glass windows and complemented by two bars, it is a lovely dining room with a spectacular view. The Loft is perfect for dinner events or additional seating for Sanctuary parties. The Great Room     The Great Room, sometimes referred to as The White Room, is our most coveted event space. With 40' ceilings covered in the original tin panels, a 35' leaded glass window that towers over the 20' bar, and a balconied loft space above, this elegant room is responsible for countless unforgettable evenings. The Great Room is a wonderful space for corporate parties and small wedding receptions.
