Open since 1992, the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre is a place for people to explore a unique and fascinating culture.
A non-profit organization, the Centre is home to a Chinese library, a cultural museum, a Chinese school, a multi-purpose hall/gymnasium, a gift store and much more. The Centre is open to the public year-round. Admission is free.
Classes related to Chinese culture are offered regularly, and frequent exhibitions and events help introduce casual visitors to a culture that dates back almost six thousand years.
Construction of this million facility began in May 1991 and was completed in September 1992. Hundreds of volunteers worked countless hours to make building of the Centre possible. An estimated quarter of a million people visit the Centre annually.
