VENUE IS CLOSED
you know what “off da heezy fo’ sheezy” means, chances are you’ve been to Club 112. Neon moon and stars flank the DJ booth and dance floor, which are bathed in lights as flashy as the crowd’s designer fashions. The dance floor is one big room with a recessed section, a balcony and several raised platforms. The showy style betrays the scene’s disco roots, but the club’s mid-20s patrons and sounds are as urban contemporary as it gets.
There’s people watching aplenty at this after-hours spot. Unless you opt for champagne and raised VIP seating, though, all you may see is the back of heads. Still, just getting through the legendary line puts you one step closer to hip-hop’s in crowd, which is what Club 112 is about.
