As a result, the two dance floors are populated by some of Chicago’s finest. If you get peckish, there’s food service on Friday and Saturday featuring acceptable sushi.
The crowd is a mix of mellow upscale professionals and club kids, with a generally reserved atmosphere. The downstairs gets good reviews for chilling out if you’re overstuffed on sushi and sake. There’s even a full service bar in the ladies room if a kung fu fight breaks out on the dance floor.

Plush, crimson sofas on the lower level and upper VIP area add to the mix. The ladies’ room even has a full-service bar. Deejays spin acid jazz, house, hip-hop, dance hall and alternative rock on three levels for patrons to dance to. Dragon Room is also about two months old, and it’s already attracted the likes of Tiger Woods, Mariah Carey, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stone Temple Pilots. Hours: 10p.m.-4a.m. Sunday and Wednesday – Friday. 10 p.m. – 5 a.m. Saturday.
