Embarcadero Building Dallas

Embarcadero Building

The Embarcadero Building debuted in 1936 as part of the Texas Centennial Exposition. At that time, it was known as the Food Exhibit Building.

Architecturally, the Embarcadero Building is a mirror-image twin of the nearby Food & Fiber Pavilion. It offers 27,000 square feet of exhibit space … a wide variety of retailers use the pavilion to showcase their products during the State Fair of Texas.

In 2008, murals on the building designed by Italian artist Carlos Ciampaglia were under painstaking renovation. One painting is a monumental rendering of Mother Nature.

You’ll find the Embarcadero Building along Nimitz Avenue, on the northeast side of the Cotton Bowl.
