Enmax Centrium The Centrium, completed in 1991, is a landmark of Central Alberta. Consultation with a broad variety of user groups created a facility which meets virtually every need of the people it serves. Concerts, hockey, basketball, motor sports, ice shows, major curling events, circuses, boxing, rodeos, wrestling, trade shows, and conventions all find a comfortable fit in the ENMAX Centrium. Recognizing this variety of events, seating configurations range from 2,000 to 6,828. Every show can have that " full house " atmosphere as floor to ceiling divider curtains mask off the unused portions of seating. The most up to date lighting, communications and acoustical systems have been incorporated into the design of the ENMAX Centrium. A great deal of emphasis was placed on acoustics, to the point that we have achieved concert sound quality, rather than that normally associated with arenas.
