Gumbo’s Bayou Grille brings Cajun & Creole dining to Toledo’s riverfront.
“The best home cookin’ east of Muddy Waters” is promised to all who come to Gumbo’s Bayou
Grille, a new Cajun-themed restaurant on the
docks of downtown Toledo.
With a menu that boasts southern favorites like
jambalaya, etouffee, red beans and rice – and even gator, Gumbo’s is the first restaurant of its kind in Toledo. A drastic renovation has been required to convert the former Hoster’s Brewing Company into a New Orleans-inspired showplace, complete with its own nightclub and dine-in Cajun bakery. Gumbos is also the home of the ever popular SIN Saturdays, Toledo’s hottest party.
We’re bringing the flavors of N’awlins north! Not just the incredible food, but the music and
atmosphere as well: from Zydeco to Mardi Gras beads.
The Gumbo’s menu offers a wide variety of both Cajun and Creole (two separate and distinct approaches to cooking) favorites including southern fried chicken, Po Boy sandwiches, crawfish etouffee, Oysters Reckefeller, hush puppies, bread pudding, Mississippi mudslide pie and two signature items: gumbo hot from the pot and cornbread fresh from the skillet.
