FLIRT reopened Memorial Day weekend providing a fresh experience for Hamptonites bored with the routine Hampton club scene. Award-winning executive chef Andrew Marc Rothschild, formerly of The Forge in Miami and The River Café in New York, is creating the bistro’s cuisine. Menu items are focused on specialties from the culinary rich northwestern Brittany region of France and will include dishes such as Entrecote and Steak Au Poivre and Seafood in a Pail, Lobster, littlenecks, shrimp, mussels and calamari with potatoes, corn, and haricot vert poached in sherry wine, butter and fine herbs. Rothschild’s talented kitchen skills gained national recognition in numerous publications such as Esquire Magazine, where his food was referred to as ” the type of haute cuisine rarely found anywhere in the United States.” Dinner will be served Thursday through Sunday from 6:00 pm until late, with the nightclub opening at 10:00 pm
