SOBS Sounds of Brazil

Larry Gold opened this club with the intention of bringing the Afro-Latino dance and music culture to New York City, as part of the diaspora. Today, the restaurant and nightclub is known as being the ultimate club for music from around the world, especially Brazil. SOBS delivers with Sounds of Brazil.

Since its opening, SOBs has gained a reputation for drawing some of the best up and coming artists and musicians. Some past performers include John Legend, Erykah Badu, Kanye West, Common, Drake & Ryan Leslie, who all enjoy playing for party goers.

For more well known names, the club's intimate atmosphere provides a place to develop a relationship fans. Both locals and foreigners enjoy partying here, and come to listen and dance to Latin, Haitian, Brazilian, Caribbean, R&B and Hip-Hop live music and DJs. Every night brings a different sound, so check out the calendar of events. The restaurant also offers great food and drinks for a complete night out!
