Nestled beneath the fabled Chelsea Hotel, the Star Lounge is an intimate haven for late-nght revelry. Its discreet 23rd Street location and its below street-level entrance offers a sought-after escape.
The venue is comprised of three distinctive areas subtly suggestive of a 1920s speakeasy, a swank cabaret club, and a posh gentlemen’s lounge. Owners Charles Ferri and Vekrum Kaushik strayed from the usual suspects of nightlife design by tapping the architectural firm Richardson Sadeki, whose clients have included Bliss Spa, Virgin Atlantic, BMW, Prada, and the Milk Gallery, to create a refreshing interpretation of the boutique-sized boite.
A modern, seamless style combined with space’s organic lighting elements give the Star Lounge a feel that is chic and exclusive, yet warm and inviting – an ideal setting for the well-heeled patron. Star Lounge is poised to become a prominent constellation on the Manhattan landscape.
