Founded in 1994, the Yaletown Brew Pub, located at the iconic neighbourhood of the same name, was the first pub of its kind in Vancouver, and it has been trailblazing ever since, as brew pubs become extensively popular throughout the city. With the vision of becoming the ultimate neighbourhood brew pub, the YBP has always has its eyes set on providing a great and chill time for all guests.
Located in the heritage district of Yaletown, the Brewing Company offers home-style yet innovative cooking at “casual” prices. A DJ will keep you on your feet and dancing if you’re up for the challenge, every single weekend from Thursday through Saturday. We’re also famous for our Sundays, when pizzas are half price and sleeves are a mere $2.78. The pub has 9 TVs and 2 pool tables, while the 160-seat restaurant boasts another 100 seats on its vintage loading dock patio from April until October. Almost never closed (December 25th and January1st excluded).
Having stood the test of time for years in Vancouver, it should come as no surprise that the YBP has a whole wall full of awards, including having been voted the Best Brewpub in Canada on several occasions (such as Brew Pub Magazine handing out this honor in 1999 and 2000), plus it’s always present at the Readers’ Choice awards when it comes to the Best in Vancouver. All of this is thanks to the works of many, including our great Brewmaster, genius Head Chef and the entire staff of workers.
Despite the success, everyone at YBC still works diligently to challenge and surprise customers with seasonal beers, evolving menus and entertaining event nights. That’s why it’s the true neighbourhood pub in Vancouver’s most vibrant neighbourhood.
We have one of Vancouver’s most unique and exciting settings, and some of the best seasonal parties in the city!
