Parking Info

City Cruises does not own or operate any parking lots in the area.
Local parking is located at the Town Point Garage, on the corner or Waterside Drive and Main St; at 110 W Main Street, Norfolk, VA 23510.
Parking is also available in the lot beside the Norfolk mural and at the Waterside District parking garage. The Waterside Garage is adjacent to Waterside District at the intersection of Waterside Drive and Atlantic Avenue; at 801 Waterside Drive, Norfolk, VA 23510.
Waterside District’s Valet Parking costs $7 Sunday through Thursday, and $18 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Additional parking is offered at the Boush Street Garage, Main Street Garage, MacArthur Center and other parking garages downtown and on the street.
Free parking is available Monday through Thursday after 6pm and all day Sunday on metered spots downtown. You can also call F.R.E.D. at 757-478-7233; a free battery-operated, state-of-the-art people mover available to riders aged 8 and up who start and end their commute in downtown Norfolk.

Directions to Waterside District

By Bus: The Hampton Roads Transit bus system has five routes that serve Waterside. They are routes 6, 8, 45, 960 and 961. Patrons destined for Waterside District often use the bus stop at Waterside Drive and Commercial Place, which is a short walk from Waterside District.
By Rail: The Tide light rail has a stop at MacArthur Square which is less than a 10-minute walk from Waterside District.
By Ferry: The Elizabeth River Ferry connects the downtown’s of Norfolk and Portsmouth.
